I’ve been with my foster family since Wednesday and was supposed to head back to the shelter today… BUT I’ve been such a good boy that they decided to keep me a little longer!

So, let me tell you a little about myself:

Snuggle bug: Absolutely! I love being close to people.

House trained: Ohhh… almost! I’ve only had one accident since Wednesday, which my foster mom says is pretty darn good for a 9-week-old pup like me!

Cats: Umm… let’s just say my feline foster sibling and I are still working on our relationship. She doesn’t like me… yet.. however I let her be, I don’t even try to chase her.

Sleep: Like a CHAMP! I’ve been waking up once during the night, although my foster mom is usually the one who makes me get out of bed. Tonight we’re going to try sleeping ALL night!

Mouthy: Nope! If I’m told “no,” I let go. I haven’t even tried chewing anything I’m not supposed to… yet!

Leash: I’ve been going on short walks and I’m doing really well! I walk nicely on my leash, although those big noisy vehicles are a little scary. With some more exposure, I’m sure I’ll be brave in no time!

Recall: Pretty good! I follow my foster family EVERYWHERE. If they move, I move. Basically, I’m their little shadow.

My foster Weimaraner brother is also trying to teach me how to act… so maybe that’s why I’m so well behaved. If I don’t listen, he makes sure to keep me in line!
