❤️ Red is a 5 1/2 year old Shepherd mix. (3/4 Shepherd 1/4 Finnish Spitz). He is very smart and just as stubborn. He loves to be with his people and watch over his property. He has a big, loud GSD bark. Red lives life with wild abandon. He has no real concern for his own safety if it means getting to what he is interested in, picture chasing a squirrel off a cliff, jumping through a slightly open window of a moving side by side when seeing a dog friend he wants to meet. Red loves other dogs but other dogs don’t always love Red. He likes to play rough with his friends and can’t always contain his excitement. He is okay with cats but they aren’t particularly fond of him either. Red listens much better to men than women. He needs a stronger handler. Red knows a lot of commands but might not listen if he has his eye on something more interesting. Red cannot be kennelled or contained in any small space. He does not like closed doors and will work to open every door in your home when you leave. He would do best with someone by his side the majority of his day and would make a great best friend for the right person.
